MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS MONITOR SOFTWARE
Outsource Engineering & Manufacturing Inc. is happy to introduce a new watchdog product. In the past a watchdog board could not be used to monitor an application program without imbedding a small program to stroke the watchdog into the application program source code. Now that is changed. With our new Multiple Applications Monitor Software (MAM) for Windows Operating Systems anyone can monitor one or all applications resident on your PC simultaneously without making any changes to the source code of the programs to be monitored. If any of the programs being monitored with MAM Software and an Outsource Watchdog Board installed were to lock up, that application would be restarted up to 5 times before the system would be rebooted. If the operating system were to lock up the computer would be rebooted by the Watchdog Board installed to maintain continuous, unattended, operation of the computer.

MAM is a simple to use software package. You load the CD and go through a simple install program to load on your hard drive. In the first window you select the applications you want to monitor. Next window you select the type of watchdog you are installing, PCI, ISA or Serial Port. For Programmable Watchdog boards you then select the amount of time from application lockup to reboot time. (Time out period) Next you select the time interval between strokes to the watchdog board. You can then turn the display off which allows you to see the watchdog being stroked. Then you exit the program and your system is set up for continuous, unattended operation. You can continue to use the AMS software to install all the Outsource Watchdog Boards you purchase.
